Valcy ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the Valcy mobile app and dictation keyboard.

1. Data We Collect & How We Use It

Valcy collects only the data necessary to provide and secure our private dictation features:

• Audio Data (Cloud Mode): When you opt into Cloud Mode, your raw audio is sent securely to our transcription processor (Groq) to convert voice to text. Audio files are processed instantly and deleted immediately after transcription. They are never stored, sold, or used to train AI models.
• Other User Content: Dictation text, transcript text, and optional text polishing content are used only to provide the dictation and rewriting features you request.
• Email Address & User ID: Used strictly to register your account, manage your Valcy Premium subscription, and authenticate you across devices.
• Device ID: Used to verify your free trial status and ensure fair usage of cloud transcription services.
• Purchase History: Subscription status and purchase information from Apple are used only to unlock Premium features, manage entitlement status, and support restore purchases.

2. NO USER TRACKING

We do not track our users. None of the data collected (including Email, Audio, Device ID, User ID, Other User Content, or Purchase History) is linked with third-party data for advertising or tracking purposes. We do not use advertising SDKs or data brokers.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share audio data only with our secure infrastructure partners (like Groq and Supabase) solely to perform the transcription, polishing, and authentication services requested by you.

4. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Simply use the "Delete Account" button in the app settings, or submit a request on our Privacy Choices page.
